Wanda’s Birthday Roll Call happens every weekday at 7:30 am on the Frank & Wanda Morning Show. We welcome your birthday submissions via phone, email, fax and mail; however, we can not guarantee it will be announced on-air. We receive a large amount of names on a daily basis and have to limit what actually gets announced due to time. The Birthday Roll Call may also be canceled or post-poned without notice due to station priorities or Morning Show flow. We will always try our very best to announce your birthday, but if we are unable to for any reason, The Frank & Wanda Morning Show sincerely apologize and wish you a blessed and happy birthday!

A note from Dara Carter/Sandy Creek High School: I never traveled abroad before, and I knew that once I did, it would feel as if I was breaking out of this box and entering a new realm. I knew that finally going, abroad would help me think and sharpen my art craft. I would be able to learn, understand, and most importantly respect the ways of other peoples culture.
Despite my preparation of what was to come and my understanding of how significant this trip would be, I was still in so much awe when I actually placed my feet on the floors that many prestigious artists have walked upon, when I pressed my fingers against the frescoed walls that were made by their genius, and when I laid my eyes on their impressive works. I was truly amazed.
It was not until I rode past the beautiful rows of sunflowers, grapes, and corn that blanketed the countryside that it dawned on me that I was in Italy! I was in one of the most well known cities in the world of art. Florence, Italy is the birthplace of renaissance and of many masterpieces. It would also come to be one of the most-beautiful places I had ever seen.
My favorite part of the trip was our visit to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. One look at it can make you question the laws of physics. How can something so large be so off balance and still standing? In my opinion, it could be the eighth wonder of the world. From the church of Santa Maria Navela, to the Arno River, the Ponto Vecchio, and even the tasty gelato shops, Italy has it ALL!

The Cochran Firm Atlanta has identified an issue regarding the health of children that we would like to share with the V-103 listening community. It has come to our attention that there has been a recent onslaught of meningitis and pneumonia cases resulting in serious illness and/or death to children age 5 and under. It has also come to our attention that the majority of these cases are preventable, if the proper vaccination schedule mandated by the State of Georgia and the CDC are followed.
·Young children are developing serious and potentially life threatening diseases caused by two deadly organisms: S. Pneumoniae and Haemophilus Influezae B.
·These organisms cause serious illnesses such as pneumonia, meningitis, as well as more minor conditions such as upper respiratory infections, and otitis media (ear infections). They most commonly affect children under the age of 5.
·There are two vaccines that can prevent the more serious illnesses in young children with a 90+% success rate.
·The two vaccines that are designed to prevent these diseases are Prevnar/PCV7 and Hib.
·The vaccines are part of your children’s routine vaccination schedule, although under Georgia law, they are not required for school entrance after the age of 5.
·Each of the vaccines comes in 4 doses. They are to be given at 2, 4, 6, and 12-15 months.
·For the maximum efficacy to be achieved, all 4 doses should be given.
·Some healthcare providers are either failing to administer any or failing to administer all of the required doses, leaving our children unprotected.
·African American children are considered high risk for contracting the diseases prevented by these vaccines.
·It is estimated that more than 1 million children per year die due to these organisms. Most of these deaths are due to complications from pneumonia.

8. You take your laptop to the bathroom so you don't miss a post!
9. You say "Good Morning FB" before your own husband, wife or kids!
10. You update you were just in an accident -- while you're STILL on the ambulance stretcher!
11. You think you're justified for being on FB while in church cuz you're sharing the word with your FB Fam!
12. You take a cute picture and the first thing you say is, "Ooooh, new Profile Pic!"
13. You change your status at work to alert your co-workers the boss is on the prowl
14. You go to the grocery store and walk around for an hour on FB instead of picking up groceries
15. You assigned FB its own special ringtone!
16. You stop arguing w/ your husband or wife just to update your status
17. Someone asks you about MySpace and your response is, "My What?"
18. FB is the 1st Application you download on your new cellphone
19. People know they have a better chance FB'ing You instead of calling
20. Your DOCTOR tells you & other patients, "Look me up on FB if you have any questions"
21. You change your Profile Name just so You get the job you just interviewed for!
22. Your homepage has been www.facebook.com for over a month
23. You check your friends' statuses before calling them
24. You get friend requests from friends of your parents and you give it a few days of thought before accepting them. When you finally do accept, grudgidely you say, “and I BET not get a request from my mama!”
25. The ULTIMATE Addict: You know you're addicted to Facebook when you get fired during a RECCESSION because you didn’t take heed to any of the warning write-ups your boss gave you about staying off of FB! Daaaaaaaaaang, Homie!
**And the hell to the naw: You know you’re addicted to Facebook when you communicate more w/ your teenage kids on FB than anything else! **
